Compromise: At least, they didn't strip everyone of their deductions, even expanding the per child tax credit, and teachers can still deduct their expenses. This is our system, where one side pitches the idea of basically stripping all government spending of "handouts" only to spend on the military, roads and bridges, while the other pitches government takeover of the health Care system where everyone receives "complimentary" health care to EVERYONE IS FORCED TO BUY HEALTH INSURANCE. I believe they dropped the MANDATE. That was the last I heard. Can someone confirm, or deny this? In the end, it's not the end of the world, but the of extremist rhetoric for the moment. Don't worry, it will be back soon. That IS our system. Like wishing there weren't any holidays and we judged each day alike, instead of retailers doing something like 80% of their business during the holiday season at the end of the year rather than business being spread evenly
