Full Wolf Moon Rose

Full Wolf Moon Rose

I took a shot looking at that blurry white line
It was clear to me, someone was talking to me
Full Wolf Moon, the smallest of the year
My stance was centered and at rest
She shown down a little to the right
A slight cut shot on the felt and to the left
Most would call a gimme, but sometimes they're missed
A few loved ones came to mind, but only for support
She stood above in my mind space
Under that night time sky, I was able to see
Her face was shining as always with glee
And, so it was that I kissed
Sister moon shined brighter as if it were a sun
With rays stretching outward, and downward
They reached to the ground
Touching precisely that blurry white line
My eyes do not see the way they once did
But, no spectacles are needed on the table I play
My sight is just fine as I shoot by the light
Full Wolf Moon Rose just last night

It says, I don't cause trouble, but I will correct it. If it is within my power, I will correct a troubled situation, as I did last night while enjoying some semi-solitude, at one of my favorite spots while doing this puzzle pictured. After all, they don't call them frat "boys" for nuthin'. Aptly put, they are boys, not men that tend to grow older, but often times, their behaviour remains boyish, which can be admirable, if you're not a childish, obnoxious, asshole. Of course, living in this college town of my Alma Mater, the University of Georgia, I have been able to recognize certain behaviors before they are exhibited. Different from being prejudice, it is more of an educated guess that something may occur that is less than desirable for the peace loving people of the world, like myself, but I am not a Peace Junkie believing firmly in an Army motto a soldier wore printed on his t- shirt one day several years ago, while I was, of course, sitting at the bar ...

Little Souls

Little Souls                                          While the battle must be fought, it cannot always be won.  Much too young to die, and much too gentle for this world, a little soul departed while most likely in her legally and chemically induced sleep.  A troubled little soul she was and would likely argue that she didn't even have a soul because it couldn't be proven by the scientific method.  This little soul had big convictions about things. When you can see you without being all wrapped up in yourself; when you can look down from the top of the trees, or the top of the mountain, or from way up high in the sky and see yourself, and all those around you within all the circumstances and unbiasedly observe the situation, only then can you begin to be released from the bondage of your state of b...

Films, Motion Pictures & MOVIES!

Immediately, by my use of the term "movies", you know I am not a Film Snob.  I also did not grow up in the era before "movies".  Even as I write this, Blogger is questioning my use of the term by underlining it with a red squiggly line, but that's what I call them, movies!  So, sue me if you don't like it. People used to only see celebrities in still shots printed in magazines before the age of television.  Then, they would go see them at the "movie theater", after hearing about it on the radio.  Nobody ever called them Film Theatres, did they?  The word "film" is really a description of the medium by which we are enabled to view "movies" rather than it being a description of the experience of watching still pictures transformed into motion.  So, I'm sticking with "movies", but I am not opposed to calling them motion pictures.  For the "purists" out there that insist on using the word "film...
