Pokemon Go AWAY!!!

So, this Pokemon Go sensation, phenomenon is the first I've seen of it's kind, unless you compare it some sort of giant Easter egg hunt that happens every night now. I'm all for getting out of the house, but I've been out of the house now for years, literally! Now, I have to worry about running into one of these people, again, literally.

I overheard one guy last night saying, "Well, it gets you out of the house, and the best part is you make new friends!" I can assure you, I AM NOT one of your new friends. The next time you run into me, or cross my path and make me wait for you to find your imaginary critters, remember we ARE NOT friends.

One particular group was sitting on some steps waiting for the next virtual projection. I was soaking wet from the day and the fact that the sprinklers had just turned on soaking me even further. Needless to say, I wasn't in a very good mood after that rude awakening.

So, as I walked passed this particular group of zombies, I asked, "What are you guys doing? I mean for real, what are you doing?" One of them said, "Go on Man!"

I said, "Go On? Go On? How 'bout Pokemon Go On, as in GO AWAY! Why don't you join the choir, or something. Heck, just sing a song instead, or start a band if you want to get out more and make new friends." It was at that moment one guy started singing, "Sing a Song" by Earth, Wind, and Fire. I began to laugh, and pointed to him and said to the group, "See... there's a guy that understands what I'm saying!" His buddy next
to him gave him knucks, and I'm sharing this with you, KNUCKLEADS!!!

Obama Phone

Dear President Obama, It is now 2016.  The next election is just a few days away, and your final term in office will conclude soon as well.  In 2008, I had a dream.  I dreamt I was in the Rose Garden having a conversation with you when you reached inside your coat pocket and gave me your cell phone telling me to call you.  I started to call you, but then I realized I had your cell phone.  So, how could I possibly call you if I had your phone?  I called the switchboard instead, and then I woke up. I woke up in 2008 to a life on the streets of Athens, GA.  This is ironic since I never imagined myself living on the streets, homeless, unemployed and somewhat hopeless; and after growing up on the Golf course in a middle class American lifestyle.  After three years on the streets, I finally got a job in 2011 where I remained until 2014.  Then, I became homeless again after serving six months in jail.  In the time since then, I have had thr...
