I Love Pool & These Lesbians

It was cool the other night when I had just finished a rack of balls when two women I'd never seen before showed up wanting to play.  I said, "Well, you gotta win the table".  So, they loaded up the quarters, and racked them up. We decided to just have a free for all, and who ever made the eight ball in the end wins, rather than play cut throat, which takes too long.  One of them asked if I played for money.  I said, "No, but I'll tell you what I will do..." The one said, "What's that?" I said, "I'm gonna kick your asses". W ell, I lost the first game. But, that was just a warm up. A third girl showed up, and it was evident to me that these were three lesbians.  So, I said, "Ya'll are lesbians aren't you?" The one said, "How did you know?" I said, "I can tell".  It wasn't that they looked particularly dike like.  It was just the way they carried themselves and talked. S...

Sudoku Therapy For Sufferers Of ADD, ADDHD, Bi-polar Disorder...

As someone who suffered from a horrible, undiagnosed case of ADD for most of my life, along with guilt, depression and anxiety, and as one who does not believe in pharmaceuticals for things we can do for ourselves, I came to find that Sudoku was better than any drug. To be able to sit still with all of my attention focused on those eighty-one squares was a learning experience.  Having never been able to sit still for my entire life, Sudoku offered me the ability to do so with the added reward of a completed puzzle! I actually enter a meditative state while doing a Sudoku puzzle.  It also unleashes a creative state where I find myself making notes in the space around the puzzle that usually turn into BLAHGS! You can check out my BLAHG at www.gabenewmanblahgs.blogspot.com Please join this Sudoku Therapy Group if you want to end a scattered life without the use of prescription drugs.  My intent in creating this group is to help others help themselves as I learned to ...

Taxes

Compromise: At least, they didn't strip everyone of their deductions, even expanding the per child tax credit, and teachers can still deduct their expenses. This is our system, where one side pitches the idea of basically stripping all government spending of "handouts" only to spend on the military, roads and bridges, while the other pitches government takeover of the health Care system where everyone receives "complimentary" health care to EVERYONE IS FORCED TO BUY HEALTH INSURANCE. I believe they dropped the MANDATE. That was the last I heard. Can someone confirm, or deny this? In the end, it's not the end of the world, but the of extremist rhetoric for the moment. Don't worry, it will be back soon. That IS our system. Like wishing there weren't any holidays and we judged each day alike, instead of retailers doing something like 80% of their business during the holiday season at the end of the year rather than business being spread evenly...

Just Uber It

A man breathing heavily, is severely overweight, and barely making his way up the sidewalk. He's coming from the parking deck.  When he gets to the front gate, he leans up against a column holding his cane and asks, "Can you please call me a cab?" The attendant says, "Sure, we'll call you a cab."  The gate attendant reaches for his phone to look up taxi cab companies.  When he does, he finds the first company doesn't even answer their phone, and neither did the second one.  Then, his phone started acting goofy.  So, he told the man leaning on the brick column to hold on.  He'd be right back. He made his way to the box office where there were two attendants.  One of them was free and looked up immediately as he approached with phone in hand saying, "My phone is acting up and there is a man down here needing a taxi cab.  Can you help me out?" The attendant willingly complies and proceeds to search for taxi cabs.  In the meanwhile, the g...

Race Relations Personally

Taking a knee is a respectful and peaceful form of protest, but I think it's time we stand together! The point is made. The memory not to be lost. But, at this point I think we should talk about race relations in this decade... or, so.  This coming from a guy once arrested for causing a disturbance. The call came in reporting a black male was causing a disturbance. They found me. I told the public defender, "L@@K at me! Evidently, there is something wrong with this story. But, I'm definitely in touch with my black side... my feminine side... my Jewish side, but not my gay side! I didn't actually say all that, except for my race side. Having been incarcerated several times in this Plantation County. I don't think ever once there wasn't some accompanying Hee-Haw, without removing myself from that part of the equation. However, the last time takes the cake... Al l that is bes ide the point. Life on the streets ain't easy, but I can tell you one thing. M...

The Genius of Cleaning Supplies

So, three guys walk into a bar and sit down right next to me. I'm just working on my Sudoku minding my own business for several minutes when one of them gets up to go use the bathroom. Several minutes pass by before he returns only to exclaim, "Whoever runs this place is a genius!" His buddies look at him like, "Huh?" Eureka moments frequently occur in the bathroom. Just ask our president who makes it clear on a daily basis. Though, only he thinks they're Eureka moments. So, the guy continues to explain, "I went to use the bathroom and somebody had pissed on the seat and left it" of course. "But, there is a cart in the men's stall that has cleaning supplies on it. So, I cleaned it myself!" His buddies were still dumbfounded, but me, I busted out in laughter! "Thanks for the bathroom humor", I told him. "I'm gonna write a BLAHG because of it. This will be a very short BLAHG, but since it ha...
